4 weeks agoMy first visit at The Botanist in Cardiff Bay and a lovely experience it was. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was very nice, lots of flavour and pretty filling too, moreso if you have the chicken burger, it's a big one! I think my only negative I can muster up were the drink prices that were a tad expensive and rack your bill up a bit, you tend to find this same scenario in many restaurants these days though. Overall a lovely place and would definitely visit again

4 weeks agoOur favourite place in 2025, WOW, what a place, we are on holiday in Cardiff and came across this place, offering lunch time deal for £8.50, we were not disappointed at all. Please have a look at the pic's. The food was absolutely amazing, right size too, flavours were spot on. The staff here are fantastic too, friendly and polite. Can't fault them. We liked it that much that im sitting in the restaurant right now writing my review im that impressed with here. We can't wait to find a local one to us when home to go to. Thank you for a great experience and great food.

2 months agoHad a lovely Sunday lunch here. The food was well seasoned and more than we could eat. A very tasty meal. Cocktails were amazing.

4 months agoWe had the kebabs and hummus starter. The food was phenomenal. Creative presentation’s and delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. Light and airy; certainly leaning into the theme with hanging plants and decor. We came mid dinner rush but found timely and pleasant service; helpful staff; accessible washrooms and plenary of vegan friendly options on the menu. 100% would visit again.

a month agoI can thoroughly recommend this restaurant after having a lovely lunch there with my partner. The food was good and the staff were polite and professional and efficient. Looking forward to going back.
