What a local shop should be. Friendly service from staff from the local community who run the store. As well as a good range of items for sale, including a wide range of local produce, they also offer community information, a coffee & cake cafe (tables indoors & outdoors), books and much more. All from a quaint premises. Oh, and award winning pork pies :-) There's parking outside but be careful of the "rat runners" going through the village.

Called in here by chance. A quaint local shop but the lady who served me was not very friendly. Service with a smile always helps. Also tried to give me change for £10 when I gave £20. Did not even apologise and if she had not still had the £20 in her hand I think she would have argued with me.
