We offer all aspects of hair services but like to specialise in hair colour. Whether that’s balayage, a root touchup, unicorn hair or corrective work, we love it all.
We genuinely want to help make the world a happier place, one head at a time. We want to help you feel happier day to day, the only way we know how; by listening, offering advice, letting you put your feet up for a while and letting you leave with a skip in your step that lasts until next time.

2 months agoI’m very happy with my stylist Taylor! She did my hair perfectly and it’s healthy and strong, the colour was on top and exactly what I imagined. The time I spent in the salon I was givin a drink and amazing conversation whilst working on my hair. I would 100% recommend!!

4 months agoI went for a trim here last May and got absolutely butchered so it shocks me that Google lists Muse as a top salon in Edinburgh. I had to go back and have the owner soften whatever the original hairdresser did to my hair (see picture). Even then, they never apologised or really acknowledge that anything had been wrong so it was as if I was just fussy.. I don’t want anyone else to go through this. Please be careful.

3 months agoMac was absolutely incredible, totally understood what I wanted for my hair and executed it perfectly! I've honestly never been so happy with a haircut, and the vibe in Muse was lovely and laid back too. I've definitely been converted from someone who dreaded haircuts and hairdressers who didn't get what I wanted or decided for themselves how much to cut or not, and felt totally respected and in control of the final look. I will be back!! x

3 months agoMy hair was in desperate need of a restyle and having read the reviews booked in at Muse. Such a warm welcome, in depth consultation about what I envisioned plus I had some pictures. I was seated and offered a warm drink. I'm absolutely thrilled with my hair - will definitely be back.

3 months agoAnother fantastic haircut from Mac - she works wonders with my fine but thick and stubbornly wavy hair. She’s also coloured my hair in a previous appointment and I’m absolutely delighted with how she’s restored my colour, carefully blending it with the grey and making me feel like me again.
