The home base of the athletic club is at the Par Athletic Track, which is owned by Cornwall County Council. From an existing cinder surface track it was upgraded to an all-weather surface with the aid of the national lottery funding and was reopened in July 2000, hosting the prestigious south west inter counties in July 2003.

With its all-weather surface, the six lane 400m track caters for all sprint, middle & long distance events, with full equipment for steeplechase and hurdles events. Par’s athletic facilities include two long jump/triple jump beds and runways, plus full equipment provided in the high jump and pole vault areas. There are two javelin runways, a shot circle and a competition standard cage for discus and hammer.

Love their 'Par Track Community Cafe' - fabulous food, reasonable price and very friendly staff. A little gem tucked away and well patronised by locals and those visitors who discover it. (Dog friendly) Small play park and a very big field!

What a brilliant place. A friend of my mate took us there. It's a community thing. Friend has been a lot. We were first time. It was something like 10 30 ish Tuesday and it got packed. Groups of men groups of women .older people mums with babies. Good mix. Several with dogs, dog friendly, inside and out. Mate had I think Olympian breakfast, we had Silver and tea for 3. Apparently Cornish tea. Was delicious . Staff friendly and helpful. I believe a mix of permanent and volunteers. There's also a library. Outside there's good car parking. Also sports facilities, can't comment on. Only negative was one dog ,owner appeared to know staff, was repeatedly barking. Just happened to be grating on my ears. No one appeared to care.

Great facility in Par. Six lane track, very good surface. There is a cafe on site which also has a small library attached. Plenty of space to sit and watch. Children's play park next to the clubhouse. Lots of parking and only a short walk from Par railway station.
