Many locals and visitors to the Surrey Hills make sure they stop at our little shop.
We pride ourselves in offering a range of high-quality, locally sourced and good-value groceries and store-cupboard essentials.
We make cheese straws and pork & leek slices using our own ‘famous’ secret recipes. We bake bread and pastries daily, and make our own quiches. We sell tea and locally roasted coffee alongside our hearty sandwiches.
We have set ourselves a 20-mile challenge and try to source as many local products as possible. We have been awarded the Surrey Hills Enterprises trademark, an accreditation and mark of local provenance, quality, and sustainability.
Our shop has been here for well over 100 years providing essential services for locals and visitors alike.
Next time you’re in Peaslake please pop in and see what we have to offer and meet our lovely staff. If we don’t stock it, we may be able to order in something specially for you!

a year agoI was lucky to spend nine days in Peaslake Village and loved the pies and the friendly atmosphere in this store. It was my favorite routine to ride the Surrey Hills, have coffee and cake at the bus stop, buy wine and pies for dinner. They made us felt like locals. Wonderful time. Thank you

3 months agoDelicious and cheap shortbreads, plus lots of other nice pastries. Good for cyclists and MTB routes nearby, stock up on fake Haribos and cola.

6 months agoI've cycled through Peaslake a few times and on each occasion stopped at the village store. It's a fantastic, welcoming place for cyclists with fresh coffee and endless slices of delicious cake on top.

11 months agoWent on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly young lady serving. Had a steak pasty, cheese roll, flapjack and a coffee. All looked home made and tasted great. Not expensive either.. The place is a little jem.
