Booked to see Father Christmas on 21st December. Really lovely Father Christmas and helpful elf. Acer the cat came to see us too. The gift was very reasonably priced. Very good quality. No extra costs to go into the grotto with our extended family unlike other garden centres we encountered. There was extensive decorations in the garden centre indoors and outside. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. Lovely food and drink in the café also. Highly recommended. They considered families who may not have a lot to spend and provided a wonderful experience well within budgets. A lovely family run business. Well worth a visit

My Great Nephew Niall had a truly magical visit today. The Grotto was well planned and beautifully decorated. Father Christmas was so friendly and engaging, he asked lots of questions and really made Niall feel special, his Elf helper was lovely and also made the experience so enjoyable, she welcomed the whole family group into the grotto at the end and took photos for us. We all commented that he was probably the best Father Christmas we had ever seen. We thoroughly recommend the experience. Thank you

I don’t visit here too often, but when I do I don’t have any issues finding what I need. The staff are friendly and willing to help you and answer questions, and there are lots of things to browse through. I have a number of indoor plants and find that there is a great range of soils, pots, and other necessities here for me. They also have a great range of outdoor garden bits, and have some good deals!

We visited both the Father Christmas and the restaurant and shop all absolutely brilliant!, From waiting to see Father Christmas the children were entertained by Father Christmas elf, who was very friendly and made the children excited to see Father Christmas. The Father Christmas really made my birthday girl feel special, and the children absolutely loved him, was a really magical experience, and we will come back year after year. The restaurant was really accommodating and food was delicious, and the shop had an absolutely beautiful Christmas displays and selection, thank you very much for our experience and we will definitely be back.

Had a lovely breakfast in the cafe here. Prices really good too. Had a stroll around the shop, lots of interesting items that we hadn't seen elsewhere. Only drawback? Didn't get to see Acer the cat... Well worth a visit. EDIT: Came for a second visit (the draw of the gorgeous coffee and walnut cake was too much to resist...) And we finally met Acer in the flesh...
