What a great GYM! Having tried and failed on many occasions to get motivated to go to a conventional gym and with little experience in fitness, SEQUOIA was a godsend!! The group PT style sessions have been ideal both to learn Calisthenics and Handstands (among many other options) alongside a great group of like minded folks. Having committed to 5hrs a week across several days of evening and weekend classes, its been great to see my confidence in fitness grow week after week. The coaches are all great fun, very knowledgable and welcoming to new customers. If anything, its a great place to get fit in a friendly, social setting and knock back the day to day stresses of life! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get into fitness and challenge themselves, the classes are all structured and require no thought or planning. You need only bring your dedication and effort the coaches have you covered. A sure fire way to feel great, look great and meet some great people. Love to SEQUOIA, I will pop in for a session when back in Falmouth for sure X
Having been a member of Sequoia movement for 4 years I can safely say it is the best gym I've attended.
It's a class-based gym which brings support and encouragement along with a great community. The owers Sarah and Adam are top trainers who have their own incredible strength and skills.
Sequoia movement has supported me in achieving strength I didn't think was possible. The programmes are set to aid you to become more skilled and stronger at your own pace.
There are no gym bros here (and no mirrors!) which adds to the warm and fun atmosphere.
Because of the variety of classes (split between the strength and movement room) one day you can be squatting and the next you're learning how to 'skin-the-cat' eg flipping upside down on the rings in a calisthenics class.
The variety of classes is fantastic with strength, calisthenics, handstands, olympic lifting, mobility, stability and more. Learning to handstand wasn't something I thought I'd be doing as an adult but it brings so much fun to life.
I really do love this gym and want you to as well.
My first ever aerial hoop lesson with Lisa was amazing! Lisa is a great teacher and I found hoop to be so much fun. I really enjoyed trying something new and moving my body in a new way. Sequoia is a lovely gym and everyone there is so friendly - there is such a community feel. The owners Adam and Sarah are really welcoming and make you feel so comfortable. I will definitely be back!
Sequoia have been a constant for me through good health and illness and surgery recovery over the last 6 years. Sarah and Adam have been so supportive in helping me reach challenging goals, and given me motivation when I have had setbacks. When I started training with Sequoia I learned new skills and saw my body change very quickly for the better. More recently my training has helped me build back up strength so I feel less pain in my body. The community at sequoia is like nowhere else I’ve trained. A great place to meet people and make friends, and lots of social outings organised by the crew. Couldn’t recommend Sequoia enough 🤩
I’ve been coming to Sequoia for a few months now. It’s one of the most supportive and fun places to work out I’ve been to. The coaches are superb and really encouraging. There’s no competition, they just want you to improve; get fitter, stronger, more mobile and get that handstand! If you’ve never tried callisthenics their beginners course is a great place to start.
