a month agoFirst time at the Bay restaurant and was not disappointed. Was greeted on a very damp Saturday afternoon by a lovely young lady who had excellent customer service. Was made to feel welcome right away. Our table was ready and was introduced to our waitress. Choice of food was excellent and had the Kebab with chunky chips. Food was delivered very quickly which was great for us as we had a show in the Millennium Centre to see. The mocktail was delicious so was the cheesecake. I will definitely be returning to the restaurant when in the bay again.

a week agoUsed to go there for drinks but this time went for a Sunday roast, really lovely staffs/service, and the food was really good. Nice environment, really big space and lots of outdoor seats with great views of Cardiff Bay - really good vibes. Roast potatoes were exceptional！！！ Would definitely go back for the potatoes.

2 months agoMy first visit at The Botanist in Cardiff Bay and a lovely experience it was. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was very nice, lots of flavour and pretty filling too, moreso if you have the chicken burger, it's a big one! I think my only negative I can muster up were the drink prices that were a tad expensive and rack your bill up a bit, you tend to find this same scenario in many restaurants these days though. Overall a lovely place and would definitely visit again

2 months agoOur favourite place in 2025, WOW, what a place, we are on holiday in Cardiff and came across this place, offering lunch time deal for £8.50, we were not disappointed at all. Please have a look at the pic's. The food was absolutely amazing, right size too, flavours were spot on. The staff here are fantastic too, friendly and polite. Can't fault them. We liked it that much that im sitting in the restaurant right now writing my review im that impressed with here. We can't wait to find a local one to us when home to go to. Thank you for a great experience and great food.

3 months agoHad a lovely Sunday lunch here. The food was well seasoned and more than we could eat. A very tasty meal. Cocktails were amazing.
