*Update* I called the number on the website. If this was not a receptionist then it was definitely a member of staff. Martha was the name I was given by him which I suspected was fake. Thank you for confirming that it was. The receptionist barely understood what I was asking and I had to repeat myself several times. He told me my case couldn’t be taken on, insisting I needed “litigation” even though I explained multiple times I was asking about mediation. When I asked for a contact email, he first offered his own but refused to provide anyone else’s. He eventually mentioned a general inbox “managed by Martha” but wouldn’t give her surname, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional and left me with no confidence my enquiry would be taken seriously. He also falsely claimed the firm didn’t do pro bono work, only later admitting they did under “specific circumstances” but again, he didn’t try to share what that meant for my case. Overall, the experience felt obstructive and unprofessional from start to finish.

It was my first time going through the process, and both the Paralegal, and the solicitor who assisted me were professional, Informative and helped me through the process expertly. They even assisted me in making an application to legal aid too. Fantastic firm and I would highly recommend them.
